“God took the beauty of the Bay of Naples, the Valley of the Nile, the Swiss Alps, the Hudson River Valley, rolled them into one and made San Francisco Bay.” --Fiorello La Guardia

:smoke:
An oldie but goodie. I remember shooting Atlantic Beach Bike week and feeling absolutely creative. I wanted to capture the softer moments of the weekend, opposite to the loud sounds, scandalously clad women and unfortunately deaths. He was old school and explained the significance of this tradition. Not only was Atlantic Beach a historically black only beach, but the bike week was to remember their freedom to ride. He was surrounded by the youth who did not understand the history. They just showed up to party. But he wasn't bothered, he just wanted to exhale.

:quince:
This special little lady wanted her quince photoshoot at the fair. Her dress screamed of cotton candy. Her spirit screamed of youth and fun. And I just screamed as I photographed her on the sky ride.

Getting stuck in the Winter Storm Nemo with my best friend served as unforgettable trip and an opportunity to practice street art.

:attraction:
I could have spent hours photographing this same shot. It was truly one of the moments where I was on automatic repeat. The beauty of these tiny creatures and the desperate attempt to reach the light. The most simple things attract.

:scream:
I know this might not be in good taste to photograph another person's art, but the lighting was impeccable and I couldn't resist.

:egypt:
Today civil unrest and protest has erupted in Egypt. I think back to my trip to Egypt in 2008, courtesy of my oldest sister. It was life changing. I mystical dream revealed. I remember each sight, smell and vision to this day. I can close my eyes and instantly feel the country. It breaks my heart to hear of the current status of this country. Politics aside, Egypt deserves peace for the simple fact they have kept the history of mankind alive.
